How should I store Stella® cheese?

Store your Stella® cheeses at the proper storage temperature of 33-40 degrees F. The refrigerator can be a very drying place for foods, so make sure you store your cheese in an air tight container to keep it from losing moisture.

After purchasing, how long can I keep the cheese?

Unopened packages will be good until the sell date on the package. Once opened, we recommend using it within 7 - 10 days.

Where can I find Stella® cheeses?

Stella® Cheese can be found in most grocer's deli or dairy cases.

Can I find Stella® cheeses everywhere in the country?

Yes, they are available nationally.

Do Stella® cheeses contain anything hydrogenated?

No, Stella® is natural cheese and does not contain any hydrogenated fats, oils or acids. They only contain milk fat.

Do Stella® cheeses contain lactose?

The majority of the naturally occurring lactose in milk used in making cheese is removed during the cheese-making process. However, the finished cheese still contains a trace amount of lactose. So, unfortunately, Stella® cheeses may cause problems for people who are lactose intolerant.

Is Stella® Cheese safe for diabetics?

We would recommend consulting a physician.
